All money made from The Frock Xchange is donated to charity. We are currently working with Village-to-Village, a small charity seeking to support positive and sustainable livelihoods in East Africa.
They develop and fund projects in sustainable agriculture, building local institutional capacity, supporting small and social enterprise, and improving well-being through enhanced education and health.
Village-to-Village are also supporting Godlove Nyagawa, a Tanzanian student, to study for a BSc in Information and Communication Technology at Huddersfield University.
Godlove is a pretty good example of someone who has overcome some formidable obstacles (like working from the age of 8 to pay his own school fees) to do rather well for himself.
He has set up numerous social projects to support other young people in his community and we think he could do even more with a bit of support.
