Q: Will I be able to try things on?
Yes, definitely, that's all part of the fun! There are screens and areas set aside for changing privately and a large full length mirror to admire yourself in!
Q: Can I still come to the party even if I don't have anything to exchange?
Yes, but if you have items to exchange you are in a better position when it comes to nabbing the best bargains. If your items are popular, and everyone is after them, you earn more points. These come in handy when you want something popular! If nobody wants the same things as you this isn't a major problem but if you don't bring any stuff, you can't earn any points so won't be able to bid for the best things.
Q: What happens if I don't find anything I like?
I’m afraid we can’t guarantee you will find something, but even if you don’t find a new outfit you may find a few new friends and have a good night out!
Q What happens if nobody wants the items I bring? Can I take them back?
If nobody wants the items you bring then unfortunately you won’t earn any points to bid for popular items. You still stand a good chance of finding something though as not everyone will be the same size or shape so most items will only actually fit a few people. If your items are left over at the end of the evening, yes, you can take them back.
Q What happens if I have stuff to donate but can’t make it to the party?
You can use the form on the Events page to tell us about any items you would like to donate.
